Name: Anitahhhhh
Location: Somewhere cold? Like, really, really cold? Without heating? ...'cept not Antarctica, even though that'd be super awesome =D
Mood: Sneezy, happy, and sleepy.
...Oh! and Dopey and Grumpy and Bashful and Doc too x] Of course.
Favorite kind of weather: Sun! warm sun. Like, April/May sun...except not really April sun because it barely suns in April. [I think that should be the verb. 'Suns,' like rains! Except for it's sunning instead of raining. Yeah? Yep.] With a low wind chill factor pleaseee. And Anita especially likes it when the sky is perfectly blue without any clouds because you can just STARESTARESTARE at the sky and all you can see is blue and you can get dizzy and high off the sky. Mmmhmmm. THAT RHYMES
Books: Anita is reading Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger [is required]. The narrator is definitely psychotic. And profane. And strange. And kinda scary. But I know people who are like this, which is even scarier xP
And then Heartbeat. =] It's a very beat up old book because I used to carry it to and from Canada every time we went to visit my cousins, but it's a good book. And has a good list of adjectives =D
Anita is thankful for: Pretty things. Sunrises in the morning while we freeze outside playing soccer when it's still dark. Warm fuzzy feelings. Ice cream! 0.7mm lead. 0.5mm lead. Expo markers. Sharpies. USB sticks. My computer *pats computer*. AP World history textbook EW HOW NERDYY.
Caramel popcorn. Fair trade chocolate. Smiles. Magic wands and butterfly wings. And the internet. Moose. Meese? Mooses. ...yeah. Penguins, definitely! Persimmons =]
People. ...repetitive-ish but yes, you guys. *patpat* *throws candy*
Big warm sweatshirts that make sure she doesna die of frostbite outside when we have to wear shorts and tshirts for PE. Velcro shoes. Cell phone charms. Tortellini. Hot steam when you boil dumplings so that you can stick your hands over the pot and warm them. Highlighters. Printers. And purple hippos.
How ARE the kids?
Super-ultra-extremely-uber-mucho BORED
by the slowness of her classes at Newport. Really. The middle daughter sits in English with sophomores whose lives revolve around some random computer game that's called warcraft...or something? yeah. She realizes that they may not have anything better to do with their lives, but rreallyyyy.
And, their idea of an essay is something like: "I think that Holden's narration is trustworthy because he is always trustworthy in the book. Holden is trustworthy because he does what he says he would do. This shows that Holden is trustworthy. Also, Holden told everyone why he didn't go to the fencing competition. This shows that Holden tells the truth, so he is truthworthy. In conclusions, I think that I can trust Holden because he always does the right thing."
...
...
[Wow, truthworthy isn't even a word]
...
...
-_________-"""
Maybe she just got stuck with the slowest sophomores at Newport. Who knows!
The oldest daughter is extremely confused because her daddy recently 'fixed' her computer. This meant reblocking of many internet sites, switch to Firefox [ahmgah! nowai.], addition of Adobe reader thingy, but deletion of the adobe flash thing, which allowed her to listen to music on the internet. Now it is quite impossible. And since she does not own any songs [oh! except, like, two...] , and isna allowed to use the radio, she is reduced to playing songs over and over and over in her head.
The oldest guy ackshually likes soccer, the sport that his class is doing in PE, which is really strange. Maybe it's because he doesn't mind pain. Meanwhile, though, his alter-ego-twin-person is whining because PEOPLE ARE BRUTAL and he is bruised. The oldest brother pays his alter-ego not ttoo much mind, though.
The youngest guy is bouncing off walls. He's influencing his younger sister. That's probably not a good thing. But they're happy kids, so whateverrrr.
Welcome!
