June Soundoff~!

Name: Larry
Location: Home!! [as opposed to school]
Mood: Boredd... evaporatingly hot. ><
What are you doing over the summer?: Teaching myself to program in java. End-of-summer goal for programming is tetris ;] So far: tic-tac-toe and calculator work.
What do you look forward to the most?: Finishing junior year but not finishing senior year. harhar.
If a tree falls in the middle of the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?: It does, but nobody cares. In fact, if someone heard it, they wouldn't care. unless the tree landed on them.
If you were guaranteed success at anything/everything you did, what would you attempt?: Solve all of the Millenium Prize Puzzles (or the 6 remaining ones). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennium_Prize_Problems
How are los kiddos?:
What kids? I don't know those youngsters bouncing around in the house because it's summer. .______."

Lalalapom

Name: Methinks you already know.
Location: In white padded room with no windows.
Mood: Indifferent.
Summer: I shall go on a ten day road trip down to California and take lots and lots of pictures. And then I will go see the HP movie and burst out into criticism over it. And eat lots and lots of ice cream. And obtain lots of community service hours.
Tree Falls: I say it does because the sound waves will still travel even if there will be no one there to interpret it as sound.
Guaranteed Success: Take over google. Because if I did and I could keep my position, I would be set for life (money, power, fame, all else that follows).
How are the kids: They are waiting impatiently for the last two days to pass by.

june soundoff....

Name: Amanders
Location: In front of Conan O'Brien [on a screen]
Mood: nostalgic. listening to photograph a ton of times.
Summer: TAIWAN, I'M COMING! Yes, i'm going in July, starting the 8th. It's going to be awesome. I don't like misquito bites though... I also don't like humidity. However, I'm still looking forward to just hanging out, you know. It's gonna be fun. No, I will not buy anything for you. lol.
If a tree falls in the middle of the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?: Ummm duh?
Success: I would get into NYC, get an intership at SNL, be able to still get good grades in my college classes, at the same time be able to participate and get to be known at an improv place, be recognized and get into SNL.
and not be hated.
so yah.
The KIDS: So it's the end of the year. Nobody checks blogger anymore cept for a few, which is sad. This blog started a year ago. Think about it... it's been a year. I remember what I blogged about last year. Now I'm the one going to highschool. The rest of you will be fine. I will not be fine. I will die. The end.
Well, the kids are last-minute cramming because we have one more Mr Black test on Friday. OHMIGOD! LAST TEST!! AMAZING. So that's what the kids are doing. The kids are also reminiscing. The kids aren't crying though. The kids will not cry. Because they are heartless. I just can't stand crying at school, because I feel sort of failure. But you know, we'll see.
not much to say.
I really miss you guys. Nobody comes to blogger.

Le Soundoff por Juno

Mkay.
Soundoff time.
I've been hesitant in pushing it out for this month because well
I HAVE BAD NEWS. Terrible, actually.

My beloved co-mod of this blog, Anita Lo, has been *gaspshockhorror* banned from blogspot, curtesy of her charming father. Let us all take a moment of silence to commemorate her contributions to this blog and her wonderful wit and humor.

-Silence-

Soundoff!

How are los kiddos? (Because I don't know how to actually say children in Spanish):

Name: Bonnie Pan
Location: Between Elysium and the Inferno
Mood: Flipping tired
Summer funzies: I'm going to Maryland. While I'm there, I'll take a detour to New York. I look forward to admiring the sights of Times Square, buying cheap counterfeit items off the streets, getting my portrait done by a caricature artist, and visiting the Empire State Building (and pretending to wait for my Cary Grant at the very top!). In Maryland, I'm pretty much just excited to see and spend time with my dad. I only hope it won't be too awkward =(
Tree falling!: No because Macbeth will join forces with Lee Min Ho and together with mathematical equations relating to the shapes and forms of conics they will create a mutant teenage ninja turtle, find the perpetrator of this obomination, and destroy the tree from which the non-sound is coming from.
The goals-oriented, reach-for-the-stars question: I really like this question actually. The first time I heard it, I stopped for a moment and thought about how little I actually try in many things I do. Not preposterously difficult things, but in ordinary things. If I put a little more effort into the things I currently am occupied with, would I have a better quality of life? Would I go to bed earlier? Would I be able to say that I lived a year of my life without regrets? Wonder wonder.
And how are the kids?: They're busybusybees working on their Macbeth skit and whatnot. They're worried a little bit about the history project, but they have a substitute teacher and she's not all too bright when it comes to grading so they're not too preoccupied with that. The youngest one came down with a ruthless cough, but she's just gotten over that, so her mom and her sibs are all quite happy. The oldest has just gotten his yearbook after paying a fine for his Summer Reading Book. (Talk about overdue....) He feels a bit pathetic because he's barely signed any yearbooks and it makes him feel like a loozer.

Have a Great Summer!!! I may or may not do a July Soundoff, but we'll see!!! I'll have internet access probably, and if I get super bored in Maryland, I'll take time to write one. I forgot how enjoyable writing soundoffs used to be (still are, for me, maybe because I just like to spout words about my life. Self-absorbed? I don't think so. Creative and eager to put down ideas/life stories on paper/posts, yes mmhm).

Es na soundoff. But just as cool.

AT FPS INTERNATIONALS 2009. (Anita's take.)
Planned a date in the Microsoft Public Bathroom, which is free. And also has music. And exotic ... er ... ..... .. .. . .. .smells. *twitch* Larry's idea I swear. Went on a date with Bonnie. In the airport bathroom. Experiences galore.
Made a soap opera. David should be a comedy actor =] Also we sang loudly and obnoxiously to a bunch of songs, and David could also be an opera diva. Yes.
Finally experienced REAL jetlag. Slept a lot. ATE SO MUCH. I think I could have gained an extra stomach. Except you can't see it. Just wait. I'll die of a heart attack next year because of all the oily fatty cloggy stuff. EEEEEEEEww
Sang a bunch of songs, danced to Wannabe in our dorm room (Lucinda and Angela didn't dance T.T" which left me and Bonnie.) and watched a bunch of cute Flash animations. Read David's Chinese homework, played Tooth or Dare and Truth or Door, watched Michael dance/lip sync to the Pokemon theme song, listened to epic tales about squishing flies, experimented with different ways of flushing the toilet *shiftyeyes!shiftyeyes.*
Exchanged a bunch of souvenirs, ate some ICE CREAM (which, by the way, wasn't wonderful/that much different from our ice cream. I guess most cows give the same tasting milk. o.O) phoned home, went to a dance, took speed showers in order to not stand in that creepy dirty shower stall too long, ranted about the chaperones (10:00PM is too early for a high school field trip curfew >[ roar.)
Took a test, made a skit, didn't get a trophy (got a placque, alright.) didn't get a medal. Lost to the guys, discovered that our rank got inputted wrong, got either 15th (with messed up ranking) or 12th (with self-corrected ranking.) Was happy the guys got trophies! And extra thing...board...with shiny metal on it! Was slightly jealous of them, rabidly reviewed test, moaned, sulked, got over it eventually.
Read some fairy tales in the back of a used book shop, belted out random Jonas Brothers' songs while walking in downtown East Lansing, took a picture with a statue of a guy that was really, really tall and stood in awkward positions *twitch*, exchanged height jokes with Larry, was NOT fooled by magic lock-pushing skills of Michael/Bonnie, ate a lot of Asian candy,
Took a lot of random pictures with our awesome team t-shirts, risked my life while waking up THE BUNNY *doom*, made an amazing chorus ("seriously?" "Seriously." "SERIOUSLY!!" "seriously.!" etc...), taught Preston how to be a gentleman from a Borders book, thought that the plane was crashing when it landed, ate half a Whopper, poked at the death-inducing soysauce-soaked rice that Preston was eating, drank tons of Fanta, heard a very special story about a SNAKE and a LEVER
Almost missed dinner, slept through breakfast, ate ice cream/popsicle thing almost every day, spazzed out at the DONUTS!, scolded Bonnie for not finishing her food, was an extremely good example at finishing all her food, sneezed, watched people get sick, hung a lot of things from around her neck because of all the stuff (pouch, lanyard, passport, cellphone), bounced on the bed, drank ginger ale + took 'drunk' pictures, was hyper, was sleepy, was WHOA'd, was happy.

Problem: THERE'S LIKE, EIGHTY MILLION TWENTY NINE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FOURTY THREE TONS OF MAKE UP WORK TO DO.
Curse you, fools! I WANT AN EXTRA DAY TO MAKE UP WORK *sobs*
*stops wasting time*
*I wish*
